Januar 2027 or by arrangement Your responsibility: <br /> • Personnel, technical, organizational, and financial leadership of the office • Strategic orientation and positioning of the department • Ensuring a future-oriented and innovative orientation and positioning of the office, including ongoing review and optimization of existing processes • Supporting the Government Council in all office matters • Conducting office business from preparation through decision-making to ensuring implementation • Cultivating partnerships and networking with a wide variety of stakeholders, including cooperation with management, directorate, departments, the superior Government Council, as well as participation in (inter-)cantonal and national commissions, working groups, and bodies, such as the Kantonaler Führungsstab Basel-Landschaft (KFS) <br /> Your background: <br /> • You have a completed degree (FH, HF, university) preferably in the field of forestry, environmental science, or comparable, as well as proven professional experience in the topics of forest and wildlife and ideally in further topics of the office (hunting, fishing, wood). • Additionally, you bring convincing leadership experience, are proficient in concept development as well as strong in implementation, and achieve set goals. • You are a responsible, decisive, and open-minded leadership personality. • Furthermore, you are loyal, experienced, and proficient and successful in dealing with various stakeholders. • You possess excellent communication skills, are empathetic, and have a good sense for employees at various levels. • Additionally, you are passionate and enthusiastic about the topics of the office. <br /> For questions regarding the position Claudia Richiger HR Business Partner 061 552 96 43 Amt für Wald und Wild beider Basel Our mission is to preserve the forest and wildlife for current and future generations.
