As a non-profit organization, we promote around 820'000 overnight stays annually and focus on quality-conscious, sustainable, and affordable youth and family tourism. For our youth hostel in Savognin, which will open in December 2026, we are looking for a committed Hauswart*in from November/December. Your tasks Responsibility for the maintenance/technical area Completion of daily repairs Smaller to medium-sized renovation work (carpentry, painting, various work in wet cells) Maintenance & upkeep of systems & machines (heating, ventilation, cleaning equipment) Assistance in planning and implementing basic cleaning Gardening and pest control Keeping the internal logbook Your profile Completed training as a Hauswart*in or in a technical or craft profession Experience in maintenance and care of properties (indoor and outdoor areas) Technical understanding and enjoyment of versatile craft work Good German or English skills Resident in the Savognin region or surrounding area Lateral entrants, re-entrants, and retirees are warmly welcome Willingness to bring your knowledge and skills to another GR youth hostel We offer A varied activity in a family-friendly work environment Participation in a new opening Attractive employment conditions and further training opportunities Free overnight stays in our youth hostels The opportunity to make a contribution to sustainable tourism Have we sparked your interest?
