Head of Central Workshops Unit HHYDRO Exploitation SA is a leading service provider mainly active in the operation and maintenance of electric power production facilities. We operate a fleet of facilities including more than 40 hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity of approximately 22% of the Swiss hydroelectric fleet (25% with pumping). Head of Central Workshops Unit Workplace: Martigny Your mission: As Head of the Central Workshops Unit, you ensure the operational, technical, and human management of a team of approximately 50 employees based in Martigny. In this key position, you guarantee the global management of the unit, from strategic planning to the realization of services, while ensuring compliance with the quality, cost, and deadline objectives agreed upon with internal and external partners. You define the annual budget and the workload plan, optimize the organization of resources, and steer activities to ensure the efficiency and performance of the workshops. In a logic of continuous improvement, you develop and optimize internal processes in order to strengthen the quality of services and customer satisfaction. You contribute actively to the modernization of infrastructures, the development of skills, and the strengthening of the positioning of the Central Workshops as a reference actor in the hydroelectric field. In your functions as a manager of the Engineering and Solutions department, you contribute to the elaboration of its strategy. Your responsibilities: Ensure the operational, technical, and human management of the unit and its teams. Define the objectives, budget, and performance indicators of the unit. Plan and steer activities to guarantee the quality, costs, and deadlines of the services. Develop services and contribute to the growth of the activity portfolio. Steer investments, modernization of infrastructures, and digitalization of processes. Develop employee skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Guarantee compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements. Your skills: Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or training deemed equivalent, ideally completed by management training. Successful experience in leading teams and steering industrial activities. Leadership, sense of organization, and ability to lead change. Strategic vision combined with a strong results orientation. Ease in relations with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Good mastery of ERP tools as well as planning and resource management processes.
