Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Share responsibility for the PaaS/IaaS infrastructure together with the service provider • Define and implement architectural specifications and integration solutions for complex IT projects • Further develop platform and integration architectures and establish technical standards • Participate in architecture sign-offs and grant architectural approval of solutions within the framework of the defined architectural specifications • Advise and coach engineering and project teams on architecture and integration issues • Develop technical prototypes and Proof of Concepts to validate solution approaches <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Higher education in computer science or comparable qualification as well as several years of experience in the field of architecture, integration, or platform operation • Sound know-how in the operation of complex system landscapes as well as applications on Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes platforms • Experience with architecture governance, security requirements, and technical standards • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, or VBScript • Analytical, networked way of thinking as well as an independent and resilient way of working • Very good knowledge of two official languages as well as good English skills <br /> In a nutshell Is your passion to design complex IT landscapes to be future-proof and to drive innovative integration solutions? The Directorate for Police Systems and Identification (PSI) of fedpol ensures the secure operation and further development of central police information systems and databases, is responsible for the national hub for police information exchange, and provides identification and forensic services for domestic and foreign partner authorities. The Police Systems Department (POLS) ensures the secure and stable operation of central information systems of the Swiss police. It develops these systems further according to requirements using agile methods and ensures their availability, functionality, and performance for police work.
