Communication All-rounder (80-100%) Schweizerischer Verband der Telekommunikation (asut), Bern asut is the voice of digital infrastructures in Switzerland and our association represents the interests of over 300 companies and organizations. We conduct the dialogue between technology, politics, and society and advocate for technology-ready and future-oriented framework conditions. Within the framework of the association strategy, we are expanding our communicative presence, proactively positioning topics, and increasing visibility among important stakeholders and target groups. For this, we offer an 80-100% position as a Communication All-rounder in our office in Bern. Your impact Ensure regular communication: As a Communication All-rounder with initiative and a can-do attitude, you are responsible for regular communication with our stakeholders. You maintain our communication channels (website, newsletter, event communication, blogs, and social media presence) and create the communication planning. Media work: You create and edit press releases and are responsible for the coordination of media inquiries, active media work, as well as the maintenance of media contacts. Messages with impact: You independently write target-group-oriented and impactful content in the interface of technology, politics, and society and ensure distribution via our communication channels. Making asut visible: You further develop our association communication strategically and conceptually and are responsible for the implementation. Leading topics & implementing projects: You independently process new association topics, research facts and data, develop positions (e.g., position papers, factsheets) together with members and working groups, and implement measures. Driving association strategy: You support the proactive positioning of the industry view, strengthen our presence in politics and administration, and contribute to the implementation of the association strategy. What you bring with you Broad communication practice: Several years of experience in independently creating content (text, image, and video) and in the successful implementation of digital communication measures. Ideally a Bachelor's in communication or similar, track record in agencies or associations, practical experience in campaigning, PR, or public affairs. Enjoyment of the ICT industry: The world of IT and communication technologies is familiar to you. You know the challenges of digitalization from your previous activities. You are interested in ICT topics, technologies, and the political dimension of digital infrastructures. Technology competence: You are ICT-savvy and handle computers, applications, and tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT virtuously. This also includes know-how and experience with social media. Project DNA: Proven project experience, high independence, as well as enjoyment of working with members and external stakeholders. Way of working: Independent, proactive, implementation-oriented – so that tasks are completed successfully. Stylistically confident in German and English, appropriate to the addressee in tone and form.
