The dermatology and venereology department, attached to the Department of Medicine, takes care of patients with skin, mucous membrane, and phaneral diseases, including sexually transmitted diseases, taking into account the services provided by other HUG departments. Job Description ## As part of the project "Molecular Mechanisms of Skin Aging" and under supervision, you will work on the implementation of the scientific project and the realization of experiments. You will conduct experiments and specific analyses in the field of dermatology. You will perform common tasks in medical, biological, or chemical sciences. You will carry out identifications, assays, titrations, syntheses, and various analyses. You will write reports and contribute to the implementation of experimental programs. You will install and use laboratory equipment and prepare the necessary reagents and solutions for analyses and experiments. Qualifications ## You hold a CFC as a laboratory technician. You have experience in a research or routine laboratory and possess scientific knowledge that allows you to collaborate on various projects, particularly in cell biology, molecular biology (PCR, FACS, Western blot), histopathology, immunohistochemistry, keratinocyte culture, as well as on human and murine skin samples. A certificate or expertise in animal experimentation is an asset. You master computer tools; knowledge of HUG software is an advantage. You are a conscientious and committed person. For non-French speakers, a C1 level in French (written and spoken) is required, as well as a good command of English.
