On behalf of a client active in precision mechanics, optics CNC Setter (M/F) On behalf of a client active in precision mechanics, optics, and the watchmaking industry, we are looking for an experienced CNC setter for a temporary engagement. The position is centered on working on Bumotec machines, with operations on precious metals and complex parts, in an environment where quality and precision are decisive. The company is part of the industrial fabric of the Neuchâtel region and collaborates with demanding players in jewelry and watchmaking. The person hired will intervene in production with direct responsibility for setting, series monitoring, and compliance with high tolerance standards. Responsibilities Ensure the complete and autonomous setting of Bumotec-type CNC machines, respecting defined procedures and manufacturing plans. Perform series changes, setups, and necessary adjustments on complex precious metal parts according to quality requirements. Control produced parts using standard measurement tools and document control results in accordance with internal instructions. Identify production deviations, propose setting corrections, and intervene quickly to guarantee the stability of machining processes. Collaborate closely with production and quality to ensure compliance with deadlines, tolerances, and finishing standards imposed by jewelry and watchmaking. Profile You have proven experience as a CNC setter in a watchmaking environment. Ideally, you have previous experience in jewelry or in the manufacturing of high-end components. You are comfortable working with precious metals and on complex technical parts. You work methodically, precisely, and remain focused on the quality of the result. You appreciate a structured framework and are capable of respecting defined production procedures.
