Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-80% Your contribution <br /> • Promote, accompany, and monitor Switzerland's participation in international research and innovation programmes (e.g., Horizon Europe and Digital Europe) • Analyze and represent research content with a focus on digitalization, and collaborate on the strategic orientation of European initiatives and programmes • Represent Switzerland's interests in the relevant international bodies • Evaluate, provide technical support, and financially evaluate direct funding within the framework of the EU research and innovation programmes (Horizon Europe) • Collaborate in the preparation, accompaniment, and implementation of federal decisions <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Completed studies, preferably in information and communication technology • Proven experience in planning, leading, or managing larger initiatives in the field of digital key technologies (possibly also at the interface between the public and private sectors) • Knowledge of political processes and procedures in international R&D cooperation is an advantage • Responsible and proactive way of working, ability to work in a team, confident manner, negotiation skills, and organizational talent • Highly developed resilience and willingness to travel • Excellent English skills (written and spoken) as well as knowledge of a second official language <br /> In a nutshell The "International Research and Innovation Programmes IPFI" division is responsible for Switzerland's participation in the EU programmes Horizon Europe and Digital Europe. The division's employees, among other things, prepare the legal basis for Switzerland's participation, represent Switzerland in strategy bodies in Brussels, and help shape the programmes and their content.
