HR Specialist Lecturers The University of Zurich (UZH) is the largest university in Switzerland with over 28,000 students and around 10,000 employees. The Personnel Department offers - in cooperation with the decentralized personnel managers - all service and consulting services, processes and systems of an integrated Human Resources (HR) management for all university units, employees and managers. Our HR Specialist Lecturers team is responsible for the processing of all administrative personnel matters and the cross-cutting personnel processes and applications of external teaching staff. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality starting 01. October 2026 or by arrangement, who loves challenges, likes to take responsibility and enjoys helping to shape processes in a developing environment. HR Specialist Lecturers Tasks Processing and control of employment contracts and contract mutations Entry and mutation of personnel and salary data in SAP Processing of residence and work permits Processing of withholding tax deductions Processing of registration forms (EO, maternity etc.) as well as official notification forms (employer certificates etc.) Creation of evaluations and reportings Management of electronic personnel files Telephone and written support for line managers and employees in HR-administrative, social security law as well as salary-relevant matters Collaboration in general administrative activities Profile completed commercial training, equivalent qualification or further training in personnel management professional experience and sound knowledge in personnel management SAP/HR knowledge and very good knowledge of MS-Office programs Very good German skills as well as good English skills With your communication style, you promote constructive and appreciative cooperation with internal and external contact persons Interest in process optimizations and change processes in order to contribute actively to the further development of workflows and structures Teamwork skills, positive and motivated basic attitude as well as perseverance even with repetitive tasks Networked thinking, proactive action, assertiveness as well as a quick grasp We offer Our employees benefit from diverse and attractive offers.
