Your tasks • You lead with conviction and commitment: You promote and motivate your team of two employees professionally, personally, and organizationally - You serve as a role model who is operationally and conceptually involved. • You work on complex technical issues independently and lead or accompany projects - from revitalization projects to investigations and inventory surveys - with an overview and practical experience. • You develop basic principles and concepts further and incorporate them into statements, co-reports, and decisions in a well-founded manner - thus strengthening the work around fish stocks, aquatic species diversity, and the protection of aquatic habitats. • You are in direct contact with authorities, specialist agencies, and various stakeholders, communicate skillfully, and take their concerns into account in your considerations and decisions. • At events, you actively strengthen your network, are on call, and have answers to major challenges such as drying water bodies, Quagga, or PFAS. Your profile • You have a university or university of applied sciences degree in natural or environmental sciences. • Topics such as waters, fish fauna, or aquatic habitats are your area of expertise - ideally with knowledge in aquatic ecology, fish biology, limnology, or a related field. • You are familiar with nature and water conservation and/or spatial planning or have a great interest in dealing with these topics in depth. • You have leadership experience and live up to what you demand: You motivate your team, provide orientation, and maintain an overview even with different interests. • You appear confident and convincing, express yourself in a stylistically assured manner, and approach different stakeholders openly • With a category B driver's license, you are quickly and flexibly on the move in the event of an incident.
