We are currently looking for a Setter for our Jewelry/Watchmaking/Industry sector. Setter (M/F/D) at 100% Your mission The setter performs adjustment work on specific installations and/or machines in order to ensure the production of products. He or she is responsible for correcting and controlling the manufacturing processes. He or she guarantees manufacturing quality, compliance with deadlines and productivity. He or she may be required to work in several sectors. Your activities *Production* • Perform the setting of one or more machines • Monitor production (launch, monitoring, feeding) • Manage first-level maintenance • Intervene in case of "simple" breakdowns • Contact the maintenance service in case of breakdown • Fill out production monitoring documents in the system and collaborate closely with the latter • Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation • Load & discharge machines • Propose solutions for improvement of Quality, Cost, Deadline performance *Quality & Control* • Correct all drifts in the manufacturing process • Perform part inspection according to instructions and/or documents • Clean and maintain machines • Ensure the proper working condition of the tooling from the beginning to the end of the series *Hygiene & Safety* • Respect, know and apply hygiene and safety rules • Apply the safety charter *Communication & training* • Participate in continuous improvement (AIC, working group) • Collaborate with operators • Communicate all issues to his/her hierarchical superior • Support his/her superior and the company in the field of internal training Professional & personal skills: • Rigorous & methodical • Ability to meet production objectives • Manual dexterity • Ability to control • Sense of organization • Autonomy • Communication • Initiative • Speed of execution • Flexibility and versatility • Demonstrate common sense • Honesty • Respect Basic and continuous training: • CFC in a mechanical trade or equivalent training • Experience in machine setting desired • Mastery of the use of conventional control devices • Reading technical drawings • Basic computer knowledge (data entry) Workplace: Vallorbe Start of activity: immediately Type of contract: CDM (duration to be defined) Hours: Day If you meet these criteria and the challenge related to the position arouses your interest, we invite you to apply by sending your complete application (CV, certificates, cover letter, diplomas...) to: Write an email or directly via the advertisement.
