Employee: Zoo Shop & Cashier 40-60% Your tasks You receive our visitors at the zoo entrance, sell admission tickets and subscriptions, and are available for general information. In the zoo shop, you advise and serve our guests, take over the cashier service including cash register reconciliation, and ensure an attractive shopping experience. Additionally, you support the presentation of goods, control the incoming goods, and help to present our diverse and animal-rich assortment in an optimal way. The preparation and execution of inventories as well as the active participation in a well-maintained appearance in both areas also belong to your diverse range of tasks. What you bring You are a service-oriented, flexible, and upright person with a pleasure in direct contact with visitors. You have several years of professional experience in retail, sales, or customer service and convince with your reliable, independent, and careful work. Even in hectic situations, you remain calm and keep an overview. You communicate safely in German; further language skills in Austrian and/or English are an advantage. We require a willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and, if necessary, for short-term deployments. Due to the working hours, a place of residence in the Basel region is an advantage.
