Senior Network Engineer

You provide functional leadership to the Network & Security Team. You plan, lead, and realize projects in the area of network infrastructure. You are responsible for the architecture and operation of all network systems throughout the entire lifecycle. You ensure efficient provider, service provider, and supplier management. You develop and operate automation solutions (IaC) for network and security infrastructures using Ansible, Python, and APIs and sustainably optimize operational processes. You maintain the operational documentation and train your colleagues. You perform risk analyses, identify potential vulnerabilities, and propose countermeasures. You coordinate and lead external employees. You ensure monitoring, service management, and compliance with SLAs. You ensure the provision and operation of infrastructure services (Core, WAN, Datacenter, Campus). You carry out procurements and support budget planning in the network area. Requirements: Experience in the functional leadership or coordination of teams. Interconnected thinking and enjoyment in finding solutions in the face of technical tasks. Deep network knowledge and several years of experience in the operation of enterprise networks. Experience in the automation of infrastructure and network processes (Infrastructure as Code), ideally with tools such as Ansible, as well as scripting skills in Python. Experience with Git, as well as CI/CD approaches in the infrastructure environment with a focus on the sustainable automation of infrastructure processes. A certification at Professional or Expert level. A degree from a university of applied sciences in IT or equivalent professional experience.
