Job posting No. 518 published 18.06.2026 For our client in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a Construction Manager (m/w/d) (80-100%) immediately or by agreement. Area of responsibility As Construction Manager, you are the operational key figure on the construction site. You take over the preparation, coordination, and supervision of the work on site; from the planning phase to the final acceptance and ensure the safety of employees, compliance with EHS guidelines, and the quality of the execution. You are the central contact person between project management, plant operation, and executing companies. Your main responsibilities    Construction site and permit management • Creation, review, and tracking of work permits • Coordination of regulatory and technical documents (safety data sheets, special permits, CE conformity, etc.) • Administration of extensions and closures of permits    Safety and EHS requirements • Identification of safety requirements for activities • Leadership of risk analyses (internal and with suppliers) • Implementation and monitoring of site-specific EHS requirements • Participation in EHS audits, daily reports, and corrective measures • Validation of EHS plans and compliance with applicable standards   Organization and construction site logistics • Setting up signs and barriers • Organization of accesses, parking lots, and logistics routes • Opening, monitoring, and closing of the construction site including acceptance and final cleaning   Coordination of parties involved • Coordination of companies and service providers • Verification of qualifications, EHS training, and access authorizations • Daily interface with employees on site   Monitoring of execution • Daily control of technical conformity of work • Coordination of activities with plant operation • Ensuring compliance with regulations, processes, and deadlines Your profile • Technical education (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or similar) • Proven experience in managing industrial construction sites or complex projects • In-depth EHS knowledge and experience in regulated environments • High presence on site, sense of responsibility, and natural leadership skills • Very good coordination and communication skills • Fluent French skills, additional languages an advantage We offer you • Industrial projects with high value creation • A key role with real responsibility and visibility • A challenging, structured, and collegial work environment • Attractive employment conditions according to your experience • The employment on our project in Neuchâtel is initially limited until the end of the year with an option for extension Area Machine/plant construction Entry date By agreement Working hours 80 Type of employment Temporary Languages German: negotiation-secure Workplace Neuchâtel
