In our interdisciplinary Outpatient Pain Medicine at Inselspital, we care for patients with acute and chronic pain according to the biopsychosocial model. You will work in an outpatient setting with regular working hours without night and weekend shifts and become part of an experienced, dedicated team. What awaits you <br /> • Nursing care of our patients before, during, and after pain therapeutic interventions (fluoroscopy/image intensifier and ultrasound) • Preparation of procedures • Assistance in the intervention team • Monitoring of vital parameters • Safe follow-up care including instruction and discharge organization • Taking over blood sampling • Carrying out local medication therapies by delegation • Responsibility for complete documentation and service recording • Organization of consultations and appointment planning • Active contribution of nursing perspectives in the group program for patient education <br /> What you bring with you <br /> • Completed training as a registered nurse HF/FH (or equivalent) • Interest in interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation; you enjoy working in a team and taking responsibility • Very good communication and counseling skills, even in challenging situations; you approach patients empathetically and clearly • You remain structured even at high pacing, prioritize reliably, and maintain an overview • Rapid comprehension, networked thinking, and strong organizational talent • Good IT user knowledge and enjoyment in helping to shape digital processes (incl. new clinical information system) • Very good German skills; good French skills are an advantage • Ideally experience with chronically ill patients <br /> Our offer <br /> • Regular working hours Monday to Friday • Structured induction with clear standards and close support in the intervention team • Taking over daily responsibility, processing referrals and other inquiries via email and telephone • Targeted development opportunities (e.g., certificate course Pain Nurse or comparable qualification) are actively supported by us • An exciting, versatile, and challenging activity in a well-coordinated core team of nursing/FaGe, anesthesiology, neurosurgery, psychology, and administration • Workplace on the Insel Campus with very good public transport connections (near Bern station) <br /> Questions about the position?
