Kanya is a growing, internationally active traditional company in the field of metal processing with around 35 employees at the location in Rüti/ZH. Based on the Kanya Aluminium-modular system, we deliver construction and conveyor technology solutions to our customers in the fields of plant engineering, automation and machine industry. Short description With us, you will take on the technical responsibility for customer projects – from the initial assessment through to construction, delivery and documentation. In doing so, you combine design and project management in one role and work closely with sales, production and purchasing. We are looking for a resilient, practical personality who maintains an overview in daily business and consistently drives projects forward Your tasks Accompanying customer projects from the inquiry to delivery Developing technical solutions and implementation in SolidWorks and IronCAD Creation of assemblies, drawings, bills of materials and project documentation Working with SolidWorks PDM and maintaining clean data structures Coordination with customers, suppliers and internal interfaces Coordination of external materials and manufactured parts Obtaining customer approvals and accompanying until project completion Ensuring compliance with standards, operating instructions and the machinery directive Monitoring deadlines, costs and quality Your profile Technical Very good knowledge of SolidWorks Experience with SolidWorks PDM Confident in handling technical drawings and assemblies Experience in mechanical engineering or conveyor technology is an advantage Good understanding of operating instructions and the machinery directive Training as a Konstrukteur EFZ or comparable Several years of practical experience Personal Quick comprehension and independence Structured, reliable and solution-oriented Resilient and calm under pressure Ability to work on several projects simultaneously Clear communication Practical-oriented doer-type What we offer Responsibility for own projects from order to acceptance Varied tasks between design and project management Direct cooperation with all areas Short decision-making paths Collegial, practical working environment Why this position is exciting You manage your projects yourself and see the result of your work from the idea to the finished plant.
