Gardener Botanical Garden Gardener Botanical Garden 60 - 70% Your new role You will strengthen our well-coordinated gardening team in the open air and in the tropical house of the Botanical Garden. Together with the other team members, you will keep the facilities in impeccable condition. Your area of activity is primarily in the open-air departments and 20% in the tropical house. Your tasks include, in addition to typical care and maintenance work, for example, the planting and overwintering of non-hardy plants or seed collection for international seed exchange This position is for you if You have an EFZ training as a gardener and have horticultural professional experience. You appreciate the plant diversity of a botanical garden. You possess manual dexterity and independence and are proficient in handling machines and equipment. Reliability, teamwork, and independence are among your strengths. You are willing to perform weekend and on-call duty on a rotational basis. Your department Stadtgrün plans, designs, and maintains the public greenery of the city. We are responsible for the green spaces of sports and school facilities, park facilities, street trees, playgrounds, cemeteries, the Botanical Garden, as well as nature and landscape protection.
