Head of Cruise Office Shaping offshore sports together! With around 5'500 members, the Cruising Club der Schweiz (CCS) is the leading organization for offshore yachting in Switzerland. We represent the interests of our members towards authorities and organizations at home and abroad, promote nautical education and training, and are recognized by the Swiss Federal Office for Maritime Navigation as an examination body for the acquisition of the offshore license. For practical training and the promotion of offshore sports, we operate a fleet of five sailing yachts and one motor yacht on European waters. Our office in the heart of Bern ensures that the diverse activities of the club run smoothly. To reinforce our team, we are looking for a committed person to start immediately or by arrangement to take on this versatile function, where you will assume responsibility in the areas of cruise, skipper, member, and ship administration. Your tasks Organization and coordination of the cruise operations of our club ships Support and assistance for our skippers as well as examination of incoming candidacies Responsibility for member administration Organization and coordination of meetings, events, and other activities within your area of responsibility Administrative support for the management team in your area of responsibility As a member of the General Secretariat, you are an important contact person for our volunteer officials, especially for the department heads, ship managers, as well as the skippers. In your role, you move at the interface between the office, members, and volunteers. With your service-oriented manner, you contribute to ensuring that our offers and processes function smoothly and that cooperation is designed professionally and efficiently. For this exciting and versatile position, you ideally bring the following: a sound commercial education or comparable qualification, several years of professional experience in the commercial field, german or french native language with very good language skills in the respective other language, high IT affinity and enjoyment of digital work processes Interest in the further development and optimization of processes Strong service orientation and organizational skills Independent, structured, and reliable way of working Enjoyment of working in a small team as well as with volunteers Interest and experience in yacht sports are an advantage, but not a requirement.
