Start date: 1 January 2027 or date to be agreed Workplace: Bern 50% Remote Work At the head of the Data Publication Service, you ensure the user-friendliness of geodata and its availability on various platforms. Your taste for challenges and your motivation allow you to manage a service from a strategic, technical, and operational perspective while ensuring coordination with specialized cantonal services, municipalities, other cantons, and the Confederation. Your tasks <br /> • Lead the operations of the Data Publication Service and manage the service (approx. 7 people) • Manage and develop the cantonal geoportail, the RDPPF cadastre, and the utility cadastre • Ensure coordination with external partners • Pursue the development of the cantonal geographic data infrastructure and implement the geoinformation strategy • Lead development projects, contribute actively to them, and ensure their follow-up <br /> Your profile <br /> • Training as an engineer in geomatics (EPF/HES), geographer, environmental science specialist, or equivalent training accompanied by professional experience • Solid knowledge in the field of web GIS products and geoservices • Proven expertise over several years in managing complex GIS projects • Several years of experience in leadership and, preferably, in the field of the RDPPF cadastre and the utility cadastre • Excellent command of French (C2) and good knowledge of German and English (B1) <br /> We offer you The Canton of Bern is an equitable employer in all respects that offers excellent working conditions.
