Senior Physician Phoniatrics

The University ENT Clinic offers competent medical care in the entire field of otorhinolaryngology with the special areas of tumor surgery, cochlear implantation, neuro-otology, audiology and phoniatrics. In phoniatrics, an interdisciplinary team is available to patients for the consultation and therapy of children, adolescents and adults with hearing, language, speech, voice and swallowing disorders What awaits you <br /> • Professional responsibility and personnel management of the Phoniatrics and Speech Therapy department of the ENT Clinic • Member of the clinic management • Treatment and care of outpatient and inpatient patients from the entire spectrum of phoniatrics • Possibility for phono-surgical interventions and participation in the interdisciplinary botulinum toxin outpatient clinic • Supervision and management of the Phoniatrics and Speech Therapy department of the interdisciplinary outpatient clinic for cleft lip and palate • Responsibility for research projects in the field of phoniatrics (clinical and basic science) • Responsibility for multicenter studies in the field of phoniatrics • Further training and supervision of physicians for the acquisition of the specialization in phoniatrics (Category A training center) • Taking over senior physician on-call duties (picket) at night and on weekends • State-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment in the field of ENT and phoniatrics as well as a highly motivated team <br /> What you bring with you <br /> • Federally recognized specialist title for Oto-Rhino-Laryngology • Specialist title in Phoniatrics or corresponding specialist title/specialization in Phoniatrics (D, A) • Solid clinical and surgical experience • Habilitation or research activity on the way to Habilitation • Enjoyment in training young colleagues and the willingness to take on leadership responsibility • Committed to supraordinate tasks of the clinic such as in student teaching • Leadership experience • Interest and commitment to the further development of internal clinic processes and structures • Strong social and communication skills in dealing with patients and employees as well as high customer orientation and impeccable manners • Very independent, exact and reliable way of working • Treatment according to the bio-psycho-social concept • Good organizational skills and high initiative • Very good German skills (C1-C2), oral French and English skills.
