DevOps / Systems Engineer in technical operations (m/f/d) This appeals to you "we detect to protect" \- with your work, you make an important contribution to safety in the Alpine region and at other demanding locations worldwide. You want to take on a central interface role between DevOps, station software, and operational operations and contribute to ensuring that real monitoring systems in the field are operated, updated, and further developed reliably. In the DevOps area, you take responsibility for deployment processes, automations, and existing station software. You maintain Ansible deployments, configurations, and scripts, implement updates, and support adjustments to existing station solutions. You work with Ansible, Bash, Docker, Linux, and network technologies on distributed Edge systems \- directly at real facilities in the environment of natural hazard monitoring. In operational operations, you process service requests, analyze malfunctions, support incidents, coordinate tasks within the team, and are ready to occasionally take on on-call duties. You appreciate the variety between automation, operations, and practical troubleshooting. You do not want to just understand systems technically, but want to take responsibility for them in everyday life. You work in a small, interdisciplinary team of software, hardware, and operations specialists with a lot of personal responsibility and short paths. Your workplace is primarily in the office, but you regularly have contact points with the technical infrastructure of our stations \- such as network components, cameras, radar systems, as well as solar power supply and fuel cells. What defines you You are a technically savvy, pragmatic, and team-oriented person with a structured way of working and clear communication. You have solid practical knowledge in Ansible, Bash, Docker, and Linux as well as interest in network technologies and distributed systems. Experience with hardware-related systems, technical infrastructure, IoT components, or electrotechnical basics is a plus. You enjoy DevOps processes, deployment automation, technical infrastructure, and the reliable operation of station software. You appreciate the variety between operational operations, automation, and technical further development. You can handle existing systems and find pragmatic solutions.
