Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Assess threat situations regarding persons to be protected, federal institutions and other sensitive targets, prioritize them and order appropriate protection measures • Conduct advisory interviews with high-ranking persons to be protected and their entourage and recommend security measures • Analyze threats and security-relevant communications according to threat management standards and estimate danger situations • Develop decision-making bases and recommendations for protection measures and interventions • Collect, evaluate and consolidate security-relevant information from national, international and public sources • Coordinate and collaborate with federal services, cantonal police bodies and national and international partners as well as handle cases relating to threat management and protection of persons <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • Completed police training; further training in threat management constitutes a preferential qualification • Several years of experience in threat management and analysis or in handling delicate situations from a security perspective • Knowledge of types of potentially dangerous persons and types of cases in relation to targeted violence, stalking and politically motivated threats • Ability to conduct challenging advisory interviews independently and appropriately to the interlocutors, strong communication skills, diplomatic talent and high discretion in handling sensitive information • Analytical and interdisciplinary approach, as well as good knowledge of the security situation at national and international levels • Excellent knowledge of two official languages and good knowledge of English <br /> In summary You are able to promptly recognize complex threat situations, analyze them in depth and develop decision-making bases for effective protection measures.
