Bern (and Homeoffice) | 80-80% This is your contribution <br /> • Controls in the form of random samples at points of sale on-site or via internet or telephone • Carrying out targeted inspections based on substantiated information • Demanding or ordering/decreeing corrections of declarations • Responsible for solving enforcement problems and creating accountability reports for the competent authorities (Federal Council, Parliament, journalists or the public) • Following international developments and participating in European and international events on this topic. In doing so, you represent the Swiss position. <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree, university of applied sciences degree (timber engineer) an advantage or higher technical college degree (Eidg. Dipl. Schreinermeister as well as wood technician) • Timber expertise with several years of professional experience in the field • Independent, solution-oriented; conceptual, analytical and networked working • Organizational and editorial skill, rapid comprehension • Tact in dealing with various stakeholder groups • Active knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of the third official language. Büro für Konsumentenfragen is looking for a flexible and resilient personality for the implementation of the declaration obligation for timber and timber products. You will control the declaration obligation according to timber species and timber origin on the Swiss market. As such, it acts as a hub between the population, consumer organizations and the Confederation. The BFK participates in the legislative process and performs various tasks in the area of consumer information-education and product safety. It actively follows international developments and holds seats in various committees at home and abroad. It also manages the secretariat of the Eidgenössische Kommission für Konsumentenfragen.
