Head of Insurance Medical Service (m/f/d), 80-100% Your versatile, meaningful and exciting tasks In this function, you have the personnel (three internal and around 80 mandated, external doctors), conceptual and professional leadership of the insurance medical service. You organize a rapid and uncomplicated flow of services between insured persons, service providers, customers and their assistants. This is done while maintaining data protection according to the requirements of law and the prioswiss/FMH contract. As a medical advisor and insurance physician at RVK, you are responsible for advising health, accident and daily allowance insurers on medical specialist questions, as well as on questions of remuneration and tariff application according to Art. 57 KVG. You ensure an optimal, timely process flow when independently processing various insurance medical issues and lead the doctors of the insurance medical service. Furthermore, you are responsible for their quality of advice and the Unité de doctrine and ensure medical advice in questions of the obligation to provide benefits as well as in legal cases, as well as assess the medical risks for applications under VVG and BVG (extra-mandatory area). Your commitment and expertise You have a specialist title and at least five years of professional experience in a medical practice and/or in a leading hospital medical function, as well as good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system. You possess the VA certificate of the Swiss Society of Medical Advisors (SGV). High independence, good analytical skills, goal- and solution-oriented thinking, teamwork and strong social competence are also among your strengths. In addition to stylistically confident German in speaking and writing, basic knowledge of French and/or Italian would be an advantage. Good IT user knowledge (Windows-Office) is required.
