Head of Category Management SubCo Head of Category Management SubCo 100% Location Zürich Workload 100% Start of work immediately or by agreement Is that you? As Head of Category Management SubCo, you are responsible for the strategic development of material and supplier structures in the areas of building technology, waste management, construction and craft services, plant maintenance and security. You lead and coach two Category Managers, negotiate framework contracts with existing and new partners, and continuously optimize the supply chain through KPI monitoring, compliance, and expenditure analysis. Additionally, you support operational teams in supplier selection and cost reduction, drive CSR and sustainability issues, and participate in national and international projects. What to expect Strategy & Implementation: Development and implementation of material and supplier strategy in your product groups and roll-out in the regions Leadership & Coaching: Management and coaching of two Category Managers and central point of contact for SubCo Negotiations & Framework Contracts: Conclusion and updating of framework agreements for services and materials with existing and new suppliers KPI Monitoring: Monitoring of relevant key figures (costs, quality, delivery reliability) and derivation of proactive measures CSR & Sustainability: Promotion of transparency and development in the areas of safety, CSR, and innovation Compliance & Process Discipline: Ensuring the proper application of global and local contracts and continuous optimization of the supply chain Operational Support: Accompaniment of operational managers in supplier selection, platform usage, and cost reduction Analysis & Optimization: Conducting expenditure analyses and initiating improvement projects Reporting & Budget: Creation of reports on cost savings, budget planning, monitoring, and forecasting Integration & Projects: Participation in the integration of new customer mandates and in national and international projects What you bring Completed commercial or technical basic training with further education in purchasing or supply chain management Several years of experience in strategic purchasing/Category Management, ideally in the SubCo environment Proven leadership experience and strongly developed project management competence Analytical thinking, affinity for numbers, and structured working method Distinct negotiating skill and high social competence Very good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office Fluent German, sure English, Italian is an advantage What we offer you Wide range of internal development opportunities 16 weeks of maternity leave Employee parties and appreciation programs Part-time work and job sharing: Flexible working models that fit your life Attractive ISS Switzerland pension fund Favorable mobile subscriptions from Swisscom for the whole family Personal offer platform with attractive discounts and special conditions Structured onboarding in the initial phase Ready for us?
