We are looking for motivated reinforcement for our team by agreement: ➤ Cook/Chef • Start of work: 10 August 2026 • Location: Basel-Stadt • Scope: 88 %, Monday to Friday • Type of contract: unlimited ➤ What are your tasks? The person in charge of the kitchen is responsible for planning, preparing, and managing school meals for our students. ELABasel is proud to offer healthy and tasty meals that are prepared and served in a positive atmosphere. The head chef is also responsible for responding to specific allergies and dietary needs, including (among others) gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and halal-compliant meals. The kitchen manager at ELABasel should be creative, flexible, and team-oriented and strive to serve children healthy, tasty, and nutritious food. Additionally, cleaning the kitchen and doing the daily dishes are part of your tasks. Working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday ➤ Ideally, you have the following properties: • The ability to work in a team and feel comfortable in a multicultural environment. • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality. • Friendliness and openness in dealing with children and adults.
