Airbase Locarno, 6595 Riazzino | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute to • Administer, manage and ensure the proper functioning of radar, radio and communication systems • Ensure the availability of the basic TIC infrastructure and communication links necessary for the operation of military airfields, ensuring their continuous and reliable operation • Analyze, identify and resolve malfunctions, anomalies or failures within complex systems, ensuring the rapid restoration of operations as well as appropriate documentation of interventions performed • Manage the technical inventory, stock and specialized documentation, while collaborating on planning, installation, assembly and disassembly of hardware components • Collaborate on projects related to operation, development and lifecycle management of systems, while ensuring local representation of Air Traffic Control System Support in Locarno <br /> What makes you unique • Basic technical training (CFC) in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, telecommunications or network technologies • Professional experience in the operation, management or maintenance of TIC infrastructures; interdisciplinary technical knowledge in the fields of TIC and air traffic safety systems is an advantage • Specific training or instructions related to the operation and maintenance of air safety control systems, such as radar, radio, voice communication systems and TIC platforms, are an advantage • Interest in complex technical environments, strong willingness to learn continuously and acquire new technical skills as well as follow specialized training in the field of radar systems, aeronautical communications and critical TIC infrastructures • Autonomous, solution-oriented personality with a precise, structured and responsible working method • Good knowledge of English (level B1 or higher) is an advantage; written and oral skills in a second official language, adapted to the requirements of the function, are also required and driving license category B <br /> In a few words The position that awaits you will allow you to assume exciting tasks within the robust and highly secure TIC environment of the Swiss Army to operate air safety systems and network infrastructure at the Locarno Airbase and its dependent sites.
