For one of our clients for a long-term temporary mission with a fixed purpose, we are looking for a: Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver Job Description As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver, you will ensure the secure and punctual transportation of goods on national and international routes, while respecting road safety rules and internal procedures. Driving and transportation: Drive a heavy goods vehicle (HGV), load and unload goods, check and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. Customer relationship: Represent the company during deliveries, welcome and exchange with clients in a professional manner, collect necessary signatures and documents. Administrative management: Keep vehicle documents, journey declarations, and incident reports up to date, and transmit necessary information to the planning department. Sought profile Training and license: Holder of a category C license - a forklift license is an asset Experience: Significant experience in international and national HGV driving (at least 5 years of experience desired with knowledge of the Swiss territory of Geneva and Vaud cantons Technical skills: Knowledge of road safety rules, cargo securing and handling. Mastery of geolocation tools and time-tracking terminals is desirable. Personal qualities: Rigor, punctuality, sense of organization, and autonomy. Excellent adaptability and customer service skills. Physical conditions: Good stress resistance and ability to perform occasional handling operations.
