Fixed-term position for 1--3 years with option for extension The University Clinic for Neurology is the largest neurological clinic in Switzerland and offers high-quality treatment in both basic neurological care and highly specialized medicine. Annually, over 30,000 patients are treated on an outpatient basis and approximately 2,000 patients on an inpatient basis. In the outpatient sector, we offer various neurological focuses, such as general neurology, neuroimmunology, headache, dementia, Parkinson's and movement disorders, epilepsy, as well as sleep medicine. You can participate in these within the framework of patient care. This offer is particularly advantageous for the expansion of your outpatient neurological expertise as a specialist, if you have worked primarily in inpatient care and emergency care within the framework of your previous neurological activity. Experience in working in an outpatient setting is desired but not necessary. • Interest and skills in also managing your own consultation areas and shaping them clinically and in terms of planning. • Interest in the further development of an outpatient neurological focus area. • Joy in the supervision, further training, and promotion of assistant physicians. • High social competence, patient-oriented way of working, as well as very good communicative skills. • Independent, structured, and responsible way of working with simultaneous strong teamwork skills. • Very good German skills in speaking and writing; good oral French skills are desirable. <br /> Our offer <br /> • Independent care of outpatient patients with different neurological diseases; supervision by the heads of the respective focus areas is possible at any time and is expressly desired, also in the interest of your own further training. • Supervision and training of assistant physicians. • Reporting and supervision of device-based examinations according to your certificates of competence. • Participation in case conferences and interdisciplinary expert boards. • Close cooperation with referring doctors, general practitioners, as well as interprofessional treatment teams. • Active shaping and further development of outpatient treatment processes and quality standards. • Possibility to participate in clinical teaching, further training, and scientific projects. • Participation in the general neurological emergency and on-call service. <br /> Questions about the position?
