At the non-profit association Fairmedia, we have been committed to fair journalism and a strong democracy for ten years. We advise and support people who are treated unfairly by the media, and we sensitize the population to the topic of «Fake News». We are now expanding this offer with a counseling center for victims of digital violence. Do you have a background in psychology or social work and a flair for digital things? Then we have an exciting position to offer from autumn 2026: Berater:in für Betroffene von digitaler Gewalt (60 % / befristet) Your tasks • You conduct initial and follow-up consultations for adult victims of digital violence and offer them legal, technical and security-related support. • You support victims with psychosocial or emotionally stabilizing counseling, show possible courses of action and convey knowledge about digital security and prevention to them. • You contribute to the development, further development and publicization of the counseling service. What we expect from you • You have completed training or studies in social work, psychology or a comparable field. • Experience in counseling victims of violence • You have basic knowledge in the field of digital violence; legal knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement. • You maintain an empathetic approach to victims and are able to establish a professional proximity-distance relationship with victims. • You have experience in project management or have been involved in the development of projects. • You move confidently in the digital space and are willing to familiarize yourself with new technologies. • Secure knowledge of the German language • You share our values and want to contribute to supporting victims and promoting safe digital spaces.
