June 2027 for the specialist office Platform Mathematics, Astronomy and Physics () a Research Associate 40-60% MAP Your tasks Supervision and further development of the web communication of the MAP platform as well as collaboration in the maintenance of the thematic portal «Astronomy» Organization, preparation and follow-up of meetings of the MAP platform including minute-taking in English Organization and implementation of conferences Development and coordination of projects of the MAP platform, especially in the area of promoting basic research and young talent in Switzerland Supervision and further development of the communication of the Swiss Quantum Initiative (website, social media, project café, communication regarding calls for proposals) Supervision of calls for proposals for the support of Quantum events and conferences Your profile Completed university degree (Master) in mathematics, physics, astronomy or a related scientific discipline Several years of professional experience, preferably in scientific communication, project management or the organization of events Native German or Swiss-German with very good oral and written knowledge of the respective other language as well as good English skills in speaking and writing Enjoyment of working with scientific professional societies and voluntary committees as well as strong social and communication skills Experience in dealing with content management systems and social media platforms You are characterized by quick comprehension as well as an independent, precise and efficient way of working with high reliability regarding deadlines and organizational ability We offer A versatile and responsible area of responsibility in an exciting scientific environment.
