It includes Higher Officer Training, Army Personnel, five training formations, the Instruction Center, and the specialized Women in the Army and diversity Service. One third of the approximately 2350 employees is active in civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative, or sporting fields and contributes to success alongside professional soldiers. The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees across four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory.
