In our Claims Litigation unit, you work at the interface between law, insurance technology, and customer needs: You contribute to resolving contentious benefit cases in a fair, efficient, and legally sound manner, thereby making a direct contribution to the reputation and result quality of Zurich Switzerland. Together with your team, you ensure that our claims organization is competently represented in appeal and complaint procedures (UVG) as well as in selected civil proceedings - from legal assessment to defining the process strategy to a comparative solution or court judgment. You work closely with internal damage and benefit specialists, underwriting, product development, and external law firms. What you do • You conduct legal disputes (in particular, appeal and complaint procedures according to UVG and civil proceedings in other areas). • You mandate, instruct, and accompany external lawyers. • You provide legal and technical advice. • You clarify fundamental legal issues, contribute to ensuring a uniform legal interpretation, and develop or update legal instructions for the damage area. • You work on internal and external training courses and conduct them independently (preparation, presentations, documents). What you bring • Completed legal studies at a Swiss university and a lawyer's patent. • Professional experience in a law firm, service company, or insurance company. • High stress tolerance, proactive and committed personality with independent and efficient working methods. • You think entrepreneurially and innovatively and are a reliable person. • Pronounced communication and negotiation skills. • Italian mother tongue with very good German language skills.
