Ittigen, Schweiz (and Homeoffice) \| 80-100% This is what you can achieve <br /> • Further develop the planning process STEP for railway expansion • Implement process optimizations for better coordination of rolling stock, infrastructure, and services in long-term service and infrastructure planning • Concretize the long-term perspective BAHN 2050 (target image STEP) at a technical level; develop technical planning parameters for the rail network • Coordinate expansion planning with ERTMS implementation, in collaboration with the relevant technical departments of the BAV • Take on additional responsibilities in strategic or regional tasks of the Planning section, e.g. for a planning region of the cantons, in the planning of STEP expansion stages or in capacity securing • Represent the BAV vis-à-vis external partners and stakeholders in expert groups and bodies of the STEP planning process <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Completed degree as a civil engineer ETH/TU/FH or comparable degree in a related field of study with in-depth knowledge of transportation planning or railway infrastructure planning • Understanding of the key interactions in the complex railway system; experience in the planning process for the railway in Switzerland • Cooperative team player, negotiating skills, confident appearance, experience in project management • Analytical and conceptual thinking; flexibility in taking on tasks within the team • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language <br /> In a nutshell You will help shape the further development of the Swiss railway system in a central role and bring your technical expertise to where it has an impact.
