The Unterabteilung Strassenunterhalt Kreis I with 25 employees is responsible for the maintenance and the operational readiness of well 240 kilometer of cantonal roads. Your responsibility As a member of a team, you maintain the Kantonsstrassenareal and carry out green care work such as mowing of embankments and verges as well as hedge care. You perform winter service assignments and are part of the on-call organization. The professional operation of various vehicles, machines and devices in road maintenance is part of your everyday life. You periodically operate a truck or a road sweeping machine. Your profile You bring a completed vocational training, for example as Landschaftsgärtner/-in EFZ, Forstwart/-in EFZ or a comparable manual training.
