The Office for Youth and Career Counseling of the Canton of Zurich, office for the districts of Affoltern, Dietikon, Horgen, is a cantonal competence center that offers professional support in the areas of family/youth and career counseling. The Child and Youth Welfare Center (kjz) is a counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children, as well as toddlers and works on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich. For our kjz team, we are looking for a social worker as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement. We support each other, enjoy working interdisciplinarily and are committed to child protection. Tasks You advise and accompany children, adolescents and parents within the framework of child protection measures in mandate management as well as on a voluntary basis. In addition, you conduct investigations in cases of suspected child endangerment. Intensive cooperation with family systems, authorities, schools as well as other institutions and specialist centers is important to us. Furthermore, your inputs and suggestions are required for the further development of our kjz Horgen. Profile You have a degree in Social Work (FH) and bring experience in youth and family welfare. We are looking for you as a solution-oriented and resilient personality with high social skills, an appreciative basic attitude and enjoyment of teamwork. Administrative activities as well as the preparation of reports and file notes are easy for you.
