Kanton Schaffhausen, Sozialamt The Sozialamt of the Canton Schaffhausen fulfills tasks in the areas of victim assistance, social assistance, offers for adults with disabilities, inpatient child and youth offers, violence prevention, protection against violence and equality. Furthermore, the department carries out tasks on behalf of the federal government in connection with the accommodation, support, integration promotion and the material support of persons from the asylum and refugee sector.
