Project Engineer (m/f/d) At a glance As a Project Engineer, you take technical responsibility for customer-specific isolator projects - from preliminary clarification to commissioning. You independently coordinate the technical interfaces, develop process-secure solutions in a regulated environment, and work closely with customers, partners, and internal specialist departments. Your understanding of complex plant processes as well as your sense for quality, deadlines, and costs contribute significantly to project success. Tasks Process responsibility for isolator-relevant functions Management and ensuring of general technical project coordination Engineering execution and process responsibility Design / calculation and definition of main components including the main components list Development and definition of the required plant processes Creation of project-specific specifications and design documents such as the P&ID (Piping & Instrument Diagram) Active participation in regular meetings with the customer & partner companies Technical preparation and, as required, technical leadership of customer and partner meetings in-house as well as externally at customers or partners worldwide Evaluation, monitoring, and compliance with budget, deadlines, and the quality of the Project Engineering Scope Confident handling of suppliers, partners, as well as customers from the entire SKAN business field Implementation of the requirements of customers and authorities (GMP - Good Manufacturing Practice as well as MRL - Machinery Directive / MVO - Machinery Ordinance) Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 10%) Hardskills Knowledge of process and procedural technology (optimally in isolator technology for the pharmaceutical industry) Experience in project management (scheduling, resource management) Engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or completed training as a technician (HLS - Heating Ventilation Sanitary) Business fluent English and German skills Softskills Basic communication skills both internally and externally (with customers and partners) Ability to express oneself clearly and precisely in a technical environment Proactive cooperation in the team and open exchange of information Reliability in the performance of tasks and the ability to adhere to given schedules Willingness to take responsibility and pursue tasks consistently Good handling of variable boundary conditions and conflicts of interest We offer An open and collegial corporate culture Freedom for ideas Participation in sports and leisure activities Promotion through further training, especially at our SKAN Academy Intensive and job-oriented induction Short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies Open communication policy 5 weeks of vacation and the possibility of additional vacation days Further information To apply, we ask you to upload your complete application documents (CV, diplomas, and work certificates) on our career page.
