LOGISTICIAN (M/F)

 Job Description Position Overview Within the Supply Chain organization of the Huntsman site in Monthey, we are looking for a motivated Logistician to join our logistics team and contribute to the smooth running of goods flows within a demanding industrial environment. In this role, you will actively participate in the reception, handling, storage, preparation, and shipping operations of raw materials and finished products. You will contribute to operational performance while ensuring strict compliance with safety rules, quality requirements, and the group's EHS standards.  Your Responsibilities • Apply and promote Huntsman's EHS standards as well as the principles of the Zero Harm program throughout all your activities.  • Identify and report risky situations, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety on site.  • Guarantee compliance with internal procedures as well as quality and regulatory requirements related to logistics operations.  • Receive, control, and store raw materials, packaging, and finished products in accordance with current procedures.  • Participate in labeling, palletizing, and handling operations and the use of storage facilities.  • Prepare orders for internal and external customers by performing picking and shipment preparation operations.  • Participate in the loading and unloading of vehicles in compliance with ADR requirements and transport security rules.  • Ensure the management and traceability of physical and computerized movements of goods.  • Collaborate with the Production, Supply Chain, and Transport teams to ensure the fluidity of logistics flows and the reliability of stocks.  • Participate in inventories and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the site's logistics performance.  Profile Sought Training • CFC in Logistics or equivalent training. • Any additional training in the logistics or Supply Chain field is an asset.  • Experience • First experience in a logistics, industrial, or production environment. • Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry is appreciated. • Experience with warehouse management tools (WMS) or ERP constitutes an advantage.  Technical Skills • Swiss-recognized forklift permit mandatory.  • Good mastery of warehousing and handling activities. • SAP knowledge appreciated but not mandatory.  • Awareness of constraints related to dangerous goods and the industrial environment.  Personal Skills We are looking for a person who distinguishes themselves by: • Their sense of responsibility. • Their rigor and organization. • Their safety orientation. • Their team spirit. • Their ability to work independently. • Their reliability in the execution of operational tasks. • Their ability to evolve in a dynamic industrial environment.  Working Conditions • Position based at the Monthey site. • Day shift. • A certain flexibility in hours may be requested occasionally, depending on activity needs and in accordance with current Swiss legislation. • Work within an industrial and logistics environment in daily contact with production and supply chain teams.  Why Join Huntsman?
