Specialist Emergency Management The University of Zurich (UZH), with over 28'000 students and 10'000 employees, is one of the leading universities in Europe. The Directorate of Real Estate and Operations (DIB) is responsible for a complex and diverse real estate portfolio with around 200 properties in the Zurich area – from teaching and research buildings to specialized infrastructures with high security requirements. In the area of Security and Environment (SU), we are actively continuing to develop the security organization of the UZH, with emergency management being an important component. Specialist Emergency Management Tasks In this strategically and conceptually important function, you are responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and further development of the emergency organization and processes, as well as the creation of concepts and emergency manuals Responsible for the implementation of risk analyses and hazard assessments responsible for leading the SU on-call meetings to evaluate events and identify trends responsible for ensuring a complete, up-to-date event log responsible for operational emergency management in the event of an incident responsible for the organization, planning, and implementation of training Profile Education in the field of security, crisis/emergency management, risk management, or equivalent qualification Ongoing further training in the field of security, crisis/emergency management, risk management regarding the current state of trends and progress Several years of experience in emergency, security, or crisis management Knowledge of alarm and communication systems (e.g., alarm server, s-Guard) Several years of experience in project management Experience in public administration is an advantage We offer Our employees benefit from diverse and attractive offers.
