This highly operational position requires both strategic vision and strong technical expertise in the fields of networks, security, and cloud technologies. The goal is to ensure high availability, performance, monitoring, and security of the network environment, while leading projects, playing a mentoring role, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additional responsibilities: • Manage the relationship with suppliers • Manage network data centers worldwide • Ensure on-call duty including outside office hours • Manage Azure network • Manage projects and their design • Provide level 3 support Main missions: 1. Strategy & Planning • Collaborate with management and service managers to assess short- and long-term network needs • Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration and mapping • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and plans associated with network administration, usage, and disaster recovery 2. Acquisition & Deployment • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN architecture, including wireless networks, switches, routers, and network tools/appliances • Implement and maintain firewalls, IPSEC tunnels, VPNs, and security best practices • Monitor products, services, protocols, and network standards • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure network products and services 3. Operation & Security of infrastructure • Configure networks to ensure proper functioning and meet business needs • Monitor performance and resolve issues • Optimize network reliability and availability • Supervise the installation and troubleshooting of user equipment and peripherals • Ensure network connectivity for all services (workstations, IP telephony, equipment) • Manage network integration with cloud providers (AWS, Azure) • Ensure network asset management and keep documentation up to date • Participate in network security solution management • Manage scaling and upgrades • Perform security audits, configuration backups, and restorations • Support continuous improvement actions in cybersecurity 4. Project Management • Lead projects and coordinate with suppliers • Contribute to GTS department projects • Ensure delivery of network projects in line with business objectives • Work closely with cybersecurity, software engineering, and IT support teams 5. Level 3 Support • Support hosted and telecom services on all sites (including residences) • Ensure on-call duty for network support outside office hours Profile & required skills: • Minimum 10 years of concrete experience in enterprise network engineering • CCNA certification required, CCNP desired • Good understanding of enterprise IT architecture • Knowledge of ITIL framework • Technical expertise: Cisco/HP, Microsoft Azure, routing, switching, wireless networks • Experience with network security solutions: Fortinet, IDS/IPS, VPN • Skills in network audio/video integration • Ability to implement standards and best practices • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Leadership, autonomy, curiosity, adaptability • Available for support outside working hours • Perfect mastery of English and French • Residency in Switzerland or near the border • Mission of 6 months + internalization
