Registrar: Collection, 50% In this versatile position, you will take on the registrar responsibility for our numerous permanent loans. You will thus be the first point of contact for the permanent lenders. In doing so, you will coordinate relevant documents and papers such as work lists, restoration and preparation measures, loan agreements, offers, customs forms, insurance certificates, and return guarantees, obtain them, check them carefully, and assign the corresponding orders. You will coordinate any transports in close coordination with internal and external partners – including scheduling and monitoring. Furthermore, you will conduct negotiations with insurance companies and brokers, take care of the processing of damage claims, and clarify questions from lenders regarding facility reports. In cooperation with the Head of Collection and Research, the Legal Counsel, and the Registrar with responsibility for Outgoing Loans, you will develop a systematic review of existing permanent loan agreements. In this context, you are tasked with updating and replacing existing permanent loan agreements where appropriate. The maintenance of the object database (MuseumPlus) is as much part of your area of responsibility as the planning and organization of situational replacement works for the permanent exhibition at Kunsthaus, as well as communication with the permanent lenders and their possible representatives. In the absence of the Registrar with responsibility for Outgoing Loans, you will take over their deputy role and ensure smooth operations.
