Advisor / Advisor Contact Point Integration What you will do with us The City of Biel actively commits itself to the integration of persons of foreign origin. In doing so, it works closely with the federal and cantonal authorities. Since 2019, on behalf of the Canton, the City of Biel has been operating the Contact Point Integration for the Biel region, the Seeland, and the Berner Jura. In this function, you will advise people and organisations on integration issues and work together with numerous partners at the municipal, cantonal, and national levels. In doing so, you will take on responsibility in a varied field of work with scope for design. Do you enjoy advising people on residence, naturalization, as well as professional and social integration? Do you enjoy working in case management and accompanying people in the development of sustainable solutions for their situation? Would you like to support organisations in reducing integration barriers? Are you interested in accompanying integration projects from the idea to implementation and reporting? Do you enjoy networking with specialist offices and actively contributing your knowledge? Do you appreciate professional exchange and collaboration in a dedicated team? What you ideally bring Tertiary education in the social, legal, or integration sector or equivalent professional experience Good knowledge of Swiss foreign and asylum law Very good German or French skills as well as good knowledge of the other language Ideally, you have advisory experience in the migration, integration, social, or legal sector. You work independently, think in networks, and move confidently in an intercultural environment. Further language skills are welcome.
