Head of Arts / Music Teacher

Le Régent International School is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Arts to lead the Arts Faculty while ensuring music teaching. Although the position is primarily attached to the secondary school, it also includes some teaching periods in the primary school as well as the supervision of extracurricular activities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of the Arts within the school and to inspire students through a rich, varied, and stimulating program. The successful candidate will ensure the leadership of the Arts Faculty, accompany and support the department's teachers, and contribute to defining the future directions of the artistic disciplines, notably music, visual arts, and drama. The position also includes the coordination of our team of external music teachers as well as the extracurricular music program. Responsibilities include the development of musical ensembles and groups, the organization of individual music lessons, as well as the management and monitoring of specialist teachers. We are looking for a qualified teacher, with experience in an international school setting, possessing strong leadership skills and a true passion for music and the arts. The successful candidate must be an accomplished musician, capable of teaching music in class as well as at least two instruments at an advanced level, and driven by the desire to encourage students to develop their potential and their enjoyment of musical practice. Experience teaching music within the framework of the IB Diploma Programme is an asset.
