Project Assistant Labor Integration 60-80% temporary

Start of position: ab 1. December 2026 or by arrangement Work location: Krauchthal \<\<Execution according to measure\>\> is our motto at the Thorberg correctional facility. We execute sanctions for 180 men from over 40 nations in closed execution. Our 140 employees are committed daily to the reintegration of the inmates into society and thereby make an important contribution to public safety. In eleven workshops, we lead and promote the inmates according to laboragogic principles. Our programs in the areas of work, therapy, education, sport, and leisure are consistently oriented towards risk reduction and social integration. Your tasks <br /> • In this newly created function, you contribute to promoting the employability and professional perspectives of the inmates. • Together with the work area, you build up internal qualification offers, coordinate, accompany, and evaluate them. • You network externally with educational institutions, associations, and authorities and maintain this network. • You design offers and framework conditions together with the various internal and external stakeholders. • You develop standardized procedures for recording skills and competencies and lay the foundations for quality assurance. • You support the project management in planning, implementation, evaluation, and project documentation. • You lead and supervise two inmates at a workplace. • The position is initially limited to 2 years. <br /> Your profile <br /> • You have a degree in the tertiary sector. • You bring several years of experience in labor integration or in vocational training or further education. • You can demonstrate sound experience in the conceptualization and successful implementation of projects. • You have experience in building and maintaining networks. • High initiative and pronounced communication skills are among your strengths. • You maintain a confident interaction with different target groups. • You communicate with stylistic confidence in writing and orally in German. In addition, you have good oral French skills. About the Amt für Justizvollzug The Amt für Justizvollzug (AJV) is responsible for the open and closed execution of sentences and measures for adults and juveniles with around 1000 employees within the Sicherheitsdirektion des Kantons Bern (SID).
