Head of Maintenance (m/w/d) Ensure plant availability - hands-on & with responsibility You ensure that our production runs – and will become even more stable in the future. You rectify malfunctions yourself, but think further: You analyze causes and develop our maintenance so that failures do not occur in the first place. In short: You sustainably reduce downtime and strengthen plant availability For this key role, we are looking for a: Head of Maintenance (m/w/d) Your tasks consist of Hands-on & Maintenance Maintenance, repair, and malfunction correction of production plants Mechanical work as well as diagnostics (including automation/control) Maintenance & Plant Management Planning and execution of preventive maintenance, spare parts management Optimization of maintenance and inspection plans Ensuring plant availability Condition assessment of plants, risk management Coordination & Cooperation Agreement with manufacturers and external service partners Organization of maintenance deployments and maintenance of maintenance contracts Technical contact person for production Improvements & Leadership Collaboration on improvements and layout optimizations Leadership of one employee Budget responsibility for maintenance You are a practitioner with a genuine hands-on mentality structured, solution-oriented, and decision-capable down-to-earth, team-oriented, and communicative You have a technical apprenticeship with EFZ (e.g. automation technician, mechatronics technician, or polymechanics technician) a further education as a technician HF or engineer FH At least 5 years of experience in the maintenance of production plants good mechanical skills and enjoyment of practical work Knowledge of automation/control technology (experience with Siemens and Beckhoff controls an advantage) Ideally, experience in the metal processing environment (punching, welding, grinding, assembly) We offer High proportion of operational activity – no pure office, but shop floor Direct influence on availability, processes, and production performance Short decision-making paths and a lot of personal responsibility Combination of technology, organization, and improvement An environment that appreciates and promotes a maker mentality If you are interested, send your complete application documents via link or QR code to the Human Resources department.
