Nursing Assistant: OR / Perioperative Assistant for Hybrid OR (Mon-Fri)

The University Clinic for Cardiology of the Inselspital Bern is one of the leading centers for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in Switzerland. In the state-of-the-art Anna-Seiler-Haus, innovative interventional and operative procedures are performed at the highest medical level in our cardiac catheterization laboratories and in the hybrid OR. Our interprofessional team accompanies patients during structural heart procedures, heart valve interventions, and other highly specialized procedures. What awaits you <br /> • You support complex operative and interventional procedures in the hybrid OR • You provide the required medical products and consumables, pass them to the surgical field, and ensure their professional preparation and supply • You support the preparation, positioning, and care of patients before, during, and after the procedures • You participate in material logistics as well as ensuring the operational readiness of the hybrid OR • You work with state-of-the-art medical technology and get to know innovative procedures of structural heart medicine • You undertake documentation and organizational tasks and contribute to compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety standards <br /> What you bring with you <br /> • Training as a Perioperative Assistant (POA) or Nursing Assistant SRK with the willingness to complete further training as a Perioperative Assistant • Interest in a highly specialized clinical environment and enjoyment of technical devices • Responsible, reliable, and independent way of working • Teamwork skills as well as a strong service orientation • Good German language skills in speaking and writing • Good IT user skills <br /> Our offer <br /> • An exciting activity in an innovative hybrid OR • State-of-the-art infrastructure in the Anna-Seiler-Haus • Structured induction and support from an experienced team • Appreciative cooperation in an interprofessional environment <br /> Questions about the position?
