ES Technician – Projects and improvement of industrial equipment Founded in 1981 in Forel, near Lausanne, Metalcolor SA specializes in continuous paint application on aluminum ("coil coating"). In order to strengthen our technical team, we are looking for a motivated ES Technician for industrial projects and continuous improvement, with the desire to imagine, design and implement technical solutions aimed at optimizing our production equipment. ES Technician – Projects and improvement of industrial equipment Your missions Design and implement improvements on our machines and installations Develop parts, tools and sub-assemblies in 3D Participate in automation, modernization and investment projects Improve the safety, ergonomics, reliability and performance of the equipment Participate in projects, from the definition of the need to commissioning. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners The position is oriented 80–90 % towards continuous improvement, project and innovation. In addition, you will occasionally intervene as a replacement maintenance technician within the maintenance team and participate in the on-call service according to the established rotation. Your profile ES Technician in industrial systems or equivalent training. A CFC in automation may also be suitable with proven experience in 3D design, development of technical solutions or industrial projects. A proven experience of several years in a similar position A strong taste for technology, design and the search for solutions Good knowledge of mechanics, industrial electricity, pneumatics and/or automation Proficiency in a 3D design software: Inventor, Fusion 360, SolidWorks or equivalent Autonomous, curious, pragmatic and comfortable in the field You are willing to perform an on-call service and live less than 30 minutes from Forel/Lavaux or are ready to move We offer A varied position with real autonomy, concrete projects and the possibility to design, manufacture, test and see your own solutions working on our installations.
