At the traditional Scala cinema in the heart of St. Gallen with six halls and a total of 1'000 seats, you can expect a place full of film history and modern cinema enjoyment. For our team, we are looking for motivated and service-oriented personalities as Allrounder Cinema, Bar/Catering and Virtual Reality (m/w/d) for deployments during the week as well as on weekends and holidays for an hourly wage. Especially on Sundays, we are currently in need of flexible support. The employment is on call - currently, there are no fixed shifts. After the training phase, you will be able to provide your active support in the cinema as well as in the bar, catering, and VR. Your area of responsibility • Friendly, proactive, and sales-oriented guest support and consulting • Active sales of our entire shop, cinema, and bar assortment, including recommendations of our offers • Preparation and professional serving of drinks and snacks in the sports bar • Ensuring a high level of service and consistent compliance with hygiene regulations • Admission control in the cinema area as well as cleaning work between screenings • Active contribution to a clean, orderly, and inviting appearance of your workplace • Assistance with warehouse management, including goods control and compliance with expiration dates • Responsibility for the cash register stock as well as correct and careful accounting • Support of our Virtual Reality Arena and ensuring a smooth process • Ensuring an attractive product presentation as well as constantly well-filled and clean sales areas • Flexible collaboration in the entire multiplex operation Your profile • Willingness for deployments in the evenings, on weekends, and on holidays • Professional experience in the gastronomy, sales, or service sector is an advantage -- lateral entrants are welcome • Strong communication skills with very good German language skills; additional languages are an advantage • With your open and upright nature, you inspire our guests and approach them actively • Enjoyment of active sales as well as the motivation to present and recommend our products convincingly • Independent, reliable, and service-oriented work with a high tempo and efficiency awareness • Even in hectic situations, you remain calm, keep an overview, and act foresightedly • You work gladly in a team, show active helpfulness, and share your knowledge proactively • Excellent manners as well as a well-groomed appearance • Sense of responsibility in handling cash, guests, and work environment Your next step We look forward to your complete and meaningful application.
