Team Leader OSH 80 - 100% # Under the Department of Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zürich ( www.vd.zh.ch) are the Office for Employment, the Office for Economy, the Office for Mobility, and administratively, the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV). In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economy (AWI) helps to strengthen the location Zürich. With its approximately 100 employees, economic expertise is bundled in the AWI, and the areas of location promotion, work permits, labor inspectorate, labor relations and economy, as well as the staff, are located there. The Labor Inspectorate is committed to safe and healthy working conditions in the Canton of Zürich. For one of the two teams - occupational safety and health protection - we are looking for a Team Leader as of 01.09.2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks: ### • Functional and personnel leadership of a well-established team of six to seven employees • Close, partnership-based cooperation with the peer team leadership for uniform enforcement throughout the entire Canton of Zürich • Carrying out company inspections in industry and trade as well as processing reports and providing information • Active participation in internal and external working groups and commissions • Strategic and operational support of the department management in daily business and on special projects Your profile: ### • Completed vocational training, supplemented by higher professional education • Further training as a specialist in OSH, expert in OSH or safety engineer • Several years of leadership experience, ideally directly in the field of occupational safety and health protection • Orally fluent and stylistically confident expression in German • Organizational talent with a structured and efficient way of working • Enjoyment of a varied activity with a field service component of 30 - 40 % • Confident, assertive appearance combined with high social competence, resilience, and assertiveness • Proficient handling of MS Office, databases and modern IT applications Take the next step in your professional career with us and send us your application via our online tool.
